At little red dog

At Little Red Dog, we know that a fulfilling dog walk is more than just time outdoors – it’s movement, play, exploration, variety, and fun. And when you can’t be there to provide it, Little Red Dog is.

Our Walking With Friends approach recognises that large groups of unfamiliar dogs can be stressful rather than enriching. Instead, we keep our walks small and thoughtfully matched, with carefully managed group sizes and appropriate staffing ratios at all times. We take great care to group dogs who know each other well and enjoy each other’s company, while dogs that don’t mix comfortably are never walked together.

Our intentionally small client base allows us to get to know each dog individually. Many of the dogs we walk have been with us for several years – and many since puppyhood. This enables us to provide calm, safe, and genuinely enjoyable walks where dogs can exercise, socialise, and relax with familiar friends.

Walks tailored to your dogs needs

At Little Red Dog, we run numerous walks throughout the day, every weekday, carefully matching dogs according to personality and needs. Walks are kept small and thoughtfully managed, ensuring comfort, safety, and a calm, enjoyable experience for all.

In addition to our regular 50-60-minute weekday walks, we have limited capacity for one-to-one or duo walks for more sensitive dogs, and we always do our best to accommodate individual requirements.

For new puppies, we offer a structured onboarding process, usually involving a couple of short visits during a working day. To ensure each puppy gets the dedication they need, we only ever onboard one puppy at a time, providing a calm and positive start to their walking routine.

before the adventure BEGINS . . .

At Little Red Dog, we want every walk to be safe, enjoyable, and tailored to your dog. To make this possible, we have a simple onboarding process:

  1. Meet and greet – We start with an initial consultation so we can meet you and your dog, understand their personality, and get a feel for what makes them happiest on a walk.

  2. Getting the details right – You’ll complete a brief client form so we know important information about your dog’s health, behaviour, and preferences.

  3. Vaccinations – All our four-legged clients must be fully vaccinated, including kennel cough (new puppies excepted). This keeps everyone safe and healthy.

This process helps us match your dog to the right walk, group, and routine, and ensures they have the best possible experience from their very first adventure with us.

We also provide the reassurance of being:

  • DBS checked

  • Pet first aid trained

  • Fully insured for the work we do

  • Serious about security, using physical lock boxes and digital encryption to protect you, your property, and your information

With these measures in place, you can relax knowing your dog is in safe, experienced, and caring hands – ready to enjoy every walk to the fullest.
